Free DLC Furniture?

Do you think we'll still get free items like the zodiac furniture set and the autumn leaf chair like we did in new leaf? Or do you think the event updates have replaced them?

i hope so - getting dlc was always super exciting so maybe it’ll be added sometimes in the event updates?

I think the updates are moreso to prevent people from changing the console date to access these special events, I don't think free items are completely out of the picture

Maybe they'll be released alongside event updates? I don't see a reason why they wouldn't release those sets in general though.
