My theory is not wrong. You need a proper curriculum and guidance, which a class at your school gives you. Those studies are based on learning a language under those rules, aka learning it in school in a class with a proper teacher.
Just pay for it. It'll be worth whatever money you spend in the long run. A second/third/whatever language is worth the amount of money that a book/program/course costs.
