Free catalog islands

Hello,

I am so sorry in advance if I’m either not allowed to post this or posting it in the wrong thread;

Back in New Leaf I would go to villages of players who would have free items (either rare or no longer available) and/or free Bells for anyone to take.
Are those kinds of places available on New Horizon? If so, are they called free catalog villages/islands?

Where can I find the players for invites?

No don't apologize it can take awhile getting used to everything Also if there is no one doing catalogue islands on here I always check out this website too

Under the categories at the top select catalogue to see all the islands open to allow to visit

There is also a turnips section on there if you were interested in selling your turnips and are looking for the best price

and sometimes the other tab has people giving away free items/cataloguing as well
