Part 1: I lost my ACNL cartridge in a move a few years ago so I downloaded the game a little while back. Recently when I was visiting my parents, I found it! I am now torn between two town themes: Shakespearean or four queens (Fairy, Queen of Hearts, Sorceress, Possibly ice queen. Landscaping would be different around each home). If anyone has some helpful advice, what might be easier for me to do or decorating ideas, I would welcome it!

Part 2: I only have one 3DS, and no local animal crossing pals so I won't be able to use one game to benefit the other. I haven't really ventured into the animal crossing wifi world much. Would it be a good idea to set up a dummy game (before I start again with a theme), play with time travel to get a lot of weeds, then invite people to my town to pull weeds for the weeding badge? I was hoping it might be a good way to make some friends online and help with my reputation. Hope that doesn't break any rules either! Please let me know.

part 1: first of all, congrats! i've lost some of my favorite games forever, so it's a relief to hear you were able to find your cartridge. i personally think four queens would be more interesting and maybe easier to do. for the sorceress, maybe use creepy/spooky furniture, and for fairy you could use mermaid furniture. queen of hearts could be either cards or lovely (or both if you plan to have different rooms), and obviously ice queen would be ice furniture. i have a full ice set you can buy from me if you ever need one!

part 2: i've heard of people doing the thing with the weeds and i think it's perfectly okay. the weeders usually get paid, so i suggest doing that (although i don't know how much would be good for weeding).

good luck with whatever you decide to do!!

Hmm I think maybe four queens theme would be easier to do. Solely because there's sets like the card set, the ice set, the spooky set and so on. Also there's also a wider range of hybrids that you can use. Maybe if you just do the Shakespearian theme you'll be a little limited to hybrids and possibly house choices. Even if you do gain the weeding badge, you're using it as a dummy game right? so that will most definitely be gone when you delete the game. Also if you do decide to fill your town with weeds you could possibly weed it and get four leaf clovers? I feel like they'd look good around the queen of hearts house if you decide to go with the queen of hearts theme because of the clover suit? A couple of red and black roses would also look good too, and maybe red-hibiscus bushes? Good luck, there's plenty of PWPS to use and plenty of maps to choose from and it may involve a lot of work since you're going to need more than one character. So I wish you the best of luck!

I will let you know if I decide to do the ice queen as my forth, I'll probably miss winter this year and wouldn't want to wait that long.

Thank you for the advice

That's true, I could put a hint of Shakespeare in the four queens theme, maybe with the fairy queen. Great landscaping ideas, I'm so hopeless with that. I think I am leaning towards the four queens because there are so many perfect sets to go with them.

No problem, definitely I agree! The four queens sounds like a pretty cool theme to me and I wouldn't mind visiting when it's all finished. ^-^
