Found an experiment on the best way to get a villager to move out

Well I was posting it for the people who didn't know about it already and also because the other day I asked something along the lines of 'does being mean to a villager make them move out quicker?' - a lot of people answered that befriending them was faster (I thought this too) but this video suggests differently.

Because it is easier to befriend them.

I've tried this a few times. Ironically, the villager that ended up pinging me was not the one I was trying to get to move. However, as soon as I switched back to my mayor, the villager I was trying to get to move pinged me and told me they were thinking of leaving. So for me it works, just takes a bit longer. ^_^

I'm new to the boards and had been on my own until now. So this helped me because I don't already know all the tips and tricks. Thank you, and thanks to everyone here who is helpful and understanding especially to those of us who are (older people) new to games like this.

I did this to move Ken out and he left 15 days after moving in. But I really think a lot of who asks to move is purely random.
