Forum support?

I've never been able to use this forum's search feature.

I keep getting the following error every time I try to search for something:

Search offline while the search system indexes all posts. Please check back later.
Error Code: 24009:561


Can anyone tell why I cannot search the forum? Moderator/Site Administrator/someone respond please.

I'm using Firefox 3.0.10 and I've tried with IE 7 but still get the error.

Well I'm no Admin or Mod, but the search feature has never worked for as long as I've Been Here. One of our members, Mickey, has found a way to search the forum without the In-site search.

It hasn't worked in over a year... I remember a longgg time ago it did, but not anytime recently. I suggest using Google, and at the end of your search, leave a space, and then type:

site:forums.the-bell-tree.com

ZetaBoards ought to get this fixed.
The google way, although it get's it done, it's not as fast as writing in a search box.

Most Zetaboard searches aren't working.

Thanks to this recent upgrade we were able to double the power of the ZB search function. Now boards with as many as 150,000 posts will be able to use the search function on their community. This is an increase from the previous limit of 75,000. On top of that we're working on other upgrades to the search system that should eventually allow boards of any size to use the system.
