Formatting for PS3

How do you format music and photos for a PS3? I put the flash drive in with the mp3s and photos, but it does not detect them. What do I do?

There's an option that says "View All" somewhere.
That's how you'll find them.
It accepts MP3's, PNG's, and JPG's. As far as I know.

videos = .mp4 fyi. (or that's what i've had the most success with)

use handbrake, which you can easily google (as i'm a lazy ass)

i think the ps3 might also accept aac, so long as it doesn't have DRM on it or what have you.
and you can always just copy a cd if you don't mind burning one.
