Forest/underwater room ideas?

I was thinking of making the upstairs of my house forest themed, and the basement water themed. In the basement I'm using the mermaid set, but unsure of the music I should put on. And the forest, unsure which wallpaper, floor, and once again, music. Any suggestions?

For your forest room, consider looking up images of the villager Sly's house interior. I thought it was pretty darn forest-like, though perhaps a bit more jungle the temperate forest.

Maybe that will give you some inspiration?

I can't give tips regarding the music because I'm rarely listening to the songs, but you could use the forest floor and the forest wallpaper from the mush series for your forest room. Or the autumn floor and wall from Saharah. Or just mix them, hehe. The mossy carpet looks also very good and jungle floor and/or wall could be another option, depending on the kind of forest you'd like to create.

For the underwater room, you could also add some pieces from the Fish set (fishing tourney). Some other stand alone items that would go well in an underwater room would be the Pisces Lamp and Mermaid statue. For wallpaper, the underwater wall would be perfect! But you need a complete fish & sea creature collection to be able to buy it. Maybe add a Dynamic Painting?
For music, I can suggest Surfin' k.K., Marine Song 2001, Aloha K.K., K.K. Calypso, or K.K. Island! You could also put some actual fish/sea creatures in there.

For a forest theme, the wildflower floor is pretty nice. There's also the Jungle wall, which you get from the museum. You're going to want to include plenty of houseplants, and maybe some items from the weeding set! Some insect items might look nice in there too, as well as some actual insects. Music- K.K Island again, Spring Blossoms or Forest Life.

I hated the wallpaper and floor with the fishing set so I'm using underwater wall and floor from the museum and mixing in some mermaid furniture for storage items. Giant clam shell music boxes with the island and calypso songs. You can put seashells on the floor also. There's a diving helmet at Ables, plus Diver Dan on the island. Also you can get mermaid and merlion statues from Gulliver. I love the mush furniture but it looks better with autumn wall and floor. Forest floor and tree lined wall are better for a greener room with the weeding set

Thank you guys for all the ideas! My friend gave me a sprout table and a lotus lamp, and I got the firefly lamp from the bug tourney. Also I got the leaf bed from dlc so :3

My basement in my Mayor's house (the biggest house in my town) has a "camping in the woods" theme, while not EXACTLY what you're looking for, it could help with some ideas :3

The music for your mermaid theme could be Bubblegum K.K.(is that the name?)in a music box-it sounds very nice! The wallpaper and flooring for your forest them would probably look best with one of Saharah's designs. The music could be Forest Life-it really does remind me of a forest! However, if you like any of the other choices better, I won't mind, although I hope I helped.
