I think this post goes here.. If there's a subcategory that's better for this please let me know ^^ I usually don't venture past The Museum or Villager Trading.

So I'm trying to make a forest-y/Jungle room in my house and I'm really at a loss as to how to organize it. Right now I have parts of the Bug-Off furniture, Mush series and some DLC items as well as plants. I really want it to be very natural and more of a forest than a garden.

Has anyone seen any cool rooms like this, or does anyone have any rooms like this? I'd love to see your rooms to get some ideas going ^^

The forest wallpaper and flooring seem like good choices if you don't have them already. There's also some DLC leaf furniture that would really nice in a forest room.

That's not much help, I know, I'll try to think of more ideas. :)

Right now I have the jungle floor and Ivy wall. Ideally I'd like the Jungle wall but I missed ONE BUG in August so now I can't get it til next year >_< I would TT but I'm afraid to TT that far back. I probably will end up replacing it with the Forest floor/wall now that it's november and I can get the Mush series to match. I also have the leaf bed but I can't think of how to get it to fit in.. I dunno, a bed just seems really out of place.

I'll upload a pic of my room in a sec, just realized that could be a little necessary xD

Here's my room from a bunch of angles so you can see all the items/how I have it setup. I also turned on the lights since usually I keep the lights off and the lotus lamp on--it casts a really cool green/yellow lighting that emphasizes the forest attributes, but you can't make out detail in that dim lighting.

I think the autumn wall would look really nice.

Yeah, I originally wanted more of a jungle room rather than the orange-based forest or autumn one but I feel like its slowly transitioning to that with the mush series, especially since I cant get the jungle wall now.

I'll probably use the forest wall though now that I can get mush items from mushrooms, particularly because the autumn stuff is only available from Saharah. She always gives me regular floors and walls ;-;

I think everything from this list fits in the theme "forest", although some stuff is missing or is kind of unnatural-looking.

Maybe an outdoor bath would look nice in the large space in the middle of your room?

Thank you! The only stuff on there I dont really like are the mush tv and fire items--I want to keep it natural and I think the fire has more of a camping vibe.
I feel like a lot of good forest stuff are DLC or event specific items >_< Almost all of it is mush, bug off or weeding day stuff

My main problem is that I just really don't know how to organize it. I've got all the other rooms in my house well organized to be pretty yet functional, but this room is just.. stuff thrown into a room.

Well, it depends on the person and their taste but I agree, some of them wouldn't fit in your room from the list.

Do you already have a [Buying] Therad?
The people here are very helpful but it will take some time to get DLC/specific event items.

Not yet, I'm trying to get a solid grasp of what I want it to look like first so I can know which items I want, and then post a buying thread. Id hate to buy stuff and then not even use it.

I think you could post and find someone in August who would let you visit - as long as it's not something like the scorpion that you can't catch in someone else's town. The people here are in all kinds of months, and others don't mind TT'ing if the price is right:) I assume you prefer to earn the wall rather than buy the wall outright? It's reorderable, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Though your room looks pretty great the way it is!

I think as far as organising goes, it'd probably be good to see if you can get as much of your furniture as possible off the walls and further into that big empty space. Not to end up with a gap around the edges, but just to break up the effect of having the furniture lined up around the edge like that. I know HHA speaks ill of having items inaccessible due to their arrangement, but if you're not looking to attain a perfect score (is that even possible?!) the penalty is honestly negligible and the look of having some clutter might turn out to be really worthwhile, especially for a room you want to look like a natural occurrence.

It's the tarantula, so unfortunately I can't do that :/
I've had the wall in my wishlist for quite a while but no one has been able to get it, even when people get me "all reorderables" on it, just because you have to have completed the bug museum, so it's kinda hard. When I do make a buying thread I'll ask for it, so hopefully someone can order it for me.

Yeah, I like to have a "centerpiece" in every room but I also like working space so people can walk around and use items. I don't really care about HHA scoring. I'm hoping to eventually line the walls with plants and such to give it a more 3D foresty appeal, and likely have the mush table/chair be my centerpiece, but I dunno.

I think the room looks fine the way it is. If you think it's too cluttered you could get rid of some. Otherwise, you can just arrange the furniture differently. Something like a table or decoration in the middle of the room would look nice, in my opinion. Your room doesn't have to have a specific purpose, since there's room to sit there, it could just be a place to rest or hang out. :)

Well thank you ^^ I'll rearrange it once I get more furniture items and flesh it out a bit more. I actually think it looks a little bare since there's barely any plants or anything. I found a cool one that's red-riding hood themed, so I might add a mannequin and do something a little like that.

Thanks to SoSu's kindness I now have the jungle wall ^^ I put it in my room and changed the layout a bit, and it looks a lot better and a lot more jungle-y

I think at this point all I really need to do is replace some stuff with the mush series and get the cicada stereo so I don't have to waste space hiding the sunflower one xD

I didn't really believe it would look better, but it does:) Glad you're enjoying the wall. I don't recognize the cabinet to the left of the caterpillar - is that something customized? Or is the top-down view throwing me off?

I know some people might have their town (or cycling town) in summer and they would allow you to come! I needed to have a town in December and march so 2 people let me come over for that. Just post a thread in the Train Station. :)

Yeah, I was gonna do that but I needed the tarantula which you can only catch in solo play >_< SoSu got me the wall now so it's not a big deal--I can live with an incomplete museum as long as I have the wall!

It's the mush cabinet ^^ You can see a little mushroom at the bottom and there's spots on it that help it match the mushroom theme. I wish I could place items on top of it but its nice to have storage in there anyways since I had to run to the opposite wing to store/get items before.

Thanks! I think it must just be the angle. I never see anything from the top down, lol.
