I was just wondering if nintendo ever fixed the plot glitch when forcing out a villager via amiibo.

The Amiibo-specific glitch that resulted in a blank name on the sold plot has been fixed for weeks.

The "Moving Out" glitch that affected basically all villager adoptions (not just Amiibo campers) has also hopefully been fixed since the last patch. There weren't specific patch notes, but there haven't been any reports of the glitch, at any rate. This glitch and the previous glitch aren't the same.

There are still a few glitches that remain that involve all campers (not just Amiibo), but they generally affect the island where the campsite belongs to and not visitors trying to adopt villagers like in the patched glitches. For example, there's a glitch where if a camper forces out a villager, and then you either TT backwards/TT forwards and skip the plot sold day/don't load the save file on the plot sold day, the camper's house will still have the exterior of the previous villager. Another glitch happens if you force out a villager on the same day that another player is in boxes. The game doesn't process two move-outs correctly, so one villager will remain in boxes day after day and won't move out properly without additional action.

Soooo helpful. I have many amiibo cards and was looking to help others with dreamies but I don’t have the time to time travel so I was looking to force them out. Thanks so much so helpful :3

That's very kind of you, helping other folks with their dream villagers!

And yeah. In that case, I think you only have to worry about the double move-out glitch if you're also planning on moving villagers out naturally in addition to using the Amiibo. I believe that you may be technically safe even if you get the glitch, because I think I've seen people say that they can use another Amiibo to essentially force out the already-moving out villager, which I guess kind of reinstates the move-out procedure on the villager that is stuck. I've also seen people say they've had success by getting someone to adopt the stuck villager, which also reinstates the move-out procedure. And while you're probably safe, I'm not sure if it will have any effect on anyone who adopts that villager.

In the end, it's probably safest to just have one move out per day, especially since there are still glitches in the system.
