Simple. Does your car run in the standard crude oil rations of petrol and diesel?
Or perhaps you have a rather rare Autogas/LPG car?
Electricity mabye?
Or mabye you just run like its the flinstones.
Or one of those ethanol blends? I dont agree personally, i think ethanol fuel is atrocious but mabye you dont
I asked this in the staff section, but i want to see what you run your cars with.

I have a petrol car.
Diesels are so polluting. Although they are much cheaper in France, the cars and the diesel.

Everything pollutes and no one can be bothered to fix it until its too late
Most of us will probably die in an oil war, unless we actually develop new fuel

I wouldn't be able to tell you the exact terminology of the sort of car I have because I'm in no way knowledgeable about that sort of thing. But I buy premium gasoline from Shell?

Gasoline = petrol, just different names for the same thing. :)

It's what my car uses too!

I call it petrol because the UK always calls it that.

Plus Petrol sounds cooler and less redneck than gasoline

i just call it 2,3,3 trimethylpentene most of the time because fancy.

Regular gas/petrol
my car is nice though.. i get about 40 miles/gallon
which is way more than my parents, ahah.

My car runs on petrol and averages 60 miles per gallon- it has a small tank but it is so cheap to run so I'm happy, I don't have to fill it up often and when I do it barely dents my wallet.
My mum's runs off diesel and averages 40 miles per gallon though she does drives a thirsty 4x4!
And my dad is the most environmentally friendly with his hybrid that averages around 60 miles per gallon.

Where are you people getting these fuel efficient cars??? O.o
My car runs on regular gas and gets like 20 MPG... American engineering >.>

But it's also dead in a shop right now so I'm getting something different hopefully soon

It doesn't run, it has wheels. HAHAHAHAAHAA I'M SO FUNNY
but seriously I'm too young to drive.

My car is a SEAT and my mum's is a Skoda so we have European made cars (They are both part of the German Volkswagen group, but mine is from a Spanish company and my mum's a Czech Republic company) and my dad's is from Honda- a Japanese company. From my own and friend's and family's past experiences most American cars are not very fuel efficient, even if they claim to be- one of my friends drives a 13 reg Ford Fiesta, which is meant to be fairly economical but it barely scrapes 40 mpg! She spends so much more than me on fuel!
