For those Resetting, Airport Color Isn't Random? (I think)

This isn't accurate. I have only ever selected "some food" and have gotten all four colours while resetting.

Timmy and Tommy state that the question is hypothetical and that Tom Nook will "get us set up with everything we need."

• A Sleeping Bag (we get a sleeping bag when we arrive)
• A Lamp (we also get a lantern when we arrive)
• Some Food (we get our native fruit, whatever that is)
• Something to kill time (we get a switch from nintendo)

These are all items that we dont have to go out of our way to get, we receive them no matter what. I just think its just to add something cute to the game

i honestly don't remember which option i chose ;; but i have a blue airport and i either said "something to kill time" or "some food", so this might be right? but it also might not be. it makes sense considering the way the ac franchise has historically made us choose questions to determine appearance, but not sure judging from other people's answers on here!

I'm in the same boat. Those seem the two most likely answers for me to pick and I have a blue airport. But enough other people are reporting otherwise I think it's not true.

99% sure i picked food and i have green. (so wasn't true for me)

I reset about 40 times until I got the combo of airport, villagers, and fruit I wanted. I saw every possible airport color and clicked only the first option the first 20 times and then the bottom one the next few. I believe airport color is randomly generated.

I reset for like 20 hours and picked the top answers every time to speed through everything and I saw every native fruit and every airport color.

I would love for this to be true though since it would save so much time for people resetting for a particular combination!

i chose food and i have an orange airport :'') i don't know if there's actually correlation bc i've been seeing a lot of differing information than what you posted ;; maybe by going through all these responses we can try to find a pattern?

I resetted multiple times, always chose "some food" and I got every airport colour at least once with no colour appearing significantly more often than the others.

It's random unless a datamine proves us wrong.

That question determines the color of your cot/hammock, lamp and radio that Tom gives you. It has nothing to do with your airport.

I recall I chose the sleeping bag, and I did receive an orange airport. It's strange though from the consensus on this thread, it seems like there are times where it is accurate, but other times where it is not.

I picked "some food" and I indeed have a blue airport, but people proved that this is wrong, sadly. I was thinking about that person that has been resetting for a month and excited that this would be one thing less for them to worry but silly me, they probably would have noticed this at this point

I picked lamp and I do have a yellow airport. I think it's just a coincidence though. The yellow airport looks very nice and tropical. It matches the dodos well.
