Do you play all of your town's in the same season?

My main I've always kept in the current time, but I finally got my second copy and I know in the end it won't be a winter town. I'm debating on keeping it in the season it's meant for(sometime around fall) instead. Especially since this snow is seriously bumming me out.

Does it ruin the experience for you being out of season? Would you recommend it to keep things a little more "fresh"?

I do find the idea of changing the season quite interesting. My town of Alleyway is supposed to be really bleak so fall would be the best time for it. Plus it would be great to not have the same thing each town. But... I hate to time travel. So I just keep it current date, current time.

I play my towns in the current season, but TT to the season/date I want to save in before updating my DA, I just think it works the best, especially if you like the events and want to collect all the stuff as it's all seasonal.

When I start a new town I've tended to start at a different date than the towns I already have. So yes I am in different seasons in my towns. If they were all the same it would be trying/boring/whatever.

I don't play in real time, but within each game I don't time travel, just move slowly forward (so I change the time back to a time after I last played, if I don't play that town daily).

Having towns set on different dates does not effect travel between towns - you can sell turnips in a town set behind or ahead of the town buying/selling. It means you can help at bug & fishing tourneys/events more easily.

A few of my towns are set to the current date & time, but most are scattered throughout the year. Like some have posted, Winter can get long and tiring and picking up a town in August can feel relaxing. It's really handy when filling out your museum.....variety is great.

Thanks everyone for your input!
I've decided to set my second town around summer/fall and keep it there for now!
