why would they even say "i was just thinking about dropping by your place" when they can't in the first place?
ok that logic is lowkey flawed in ac world because they talk about going on a picnic with us even though we literally can't lol

but i wonder if villagers were actually meant to visit/ask you to visit them then it just ended up not making the game like the white fences?

I wish at the very least you could invite them over to your house at will like we can place (for lack of a better word lol) at Harvs island. It would be so nice to hang out with your villagers whenever you wanted! I'd even be fine with random drop-ins!

I had one of my villagers comment how they had just played hide and seek by themselves...why even taunt me like that?

i also wish that wasn’t just design. like what are they even looking at their phones? do they get miles too if they talk to 3 of their neighbors?

Yea, I wish the villager visits would come back. Them stopping by, or setting up a time to visit or you visit them, added a bit of life.

What I would also like to see is being able to throw parties at our house and have maybe 3 or 4 villagers over. Tea parties, costume parties, holiday, or just hanging out.

When I first started playing the game, I thought they didn’t visit because I was always outside and because I didn’t have inclines or bridges to allow them to get to the cliff that my house was on. So, i prioritized those areas for construction first and once done, I thought they’d come visit me if I stayed inside for so many minutes. lol... how wrong I was.

I really miss them commenting on my furniture and wearing custom designs (all of the ones I want them to wear are from NL or HHD, and/or they’re not mine.

Kinda tricky for villagers to follow you to your house way up there haha.

but isn’t it weirder for it to be added on an update, like suddenly they can visit our houses. isabelle was like it’s safe to swim now, so for this one would she be like, we’re now allowing your neighbors to visit your houses

I miss getting invited and visited by my villagers. It was such a cute feature in the previous games, I don't understand why they get rid off it in NH. Hopefully, they bring it back one day.
