Food You've Tried Because of a TV Show/Cartoon/Video Game

I tried spaghetti tacos from icarly. I was curious to see how they tasted. They actually weren't that bad.

Those teletubby Pancakes with the smiles on them. XD
I actually really wanted to try tubby custard, but mum never made it >:(

Lots of foods look really appetising in shows.

Fish fingers and custard from Doctor Who

Kudos for trying it, but ohmygod I couldn't. I hate fish, so that would be a major problem for me.

I made 'sketti (spaghetti noodles topped with a sauce comprised of butter and ketchup, if you aren't familiar) once like Honey Boo Boos family. Thank god I wasn't sober.

I had tons of spinach when I was a kid watching Popeye looking like a badass doing it.
I still love it, and I'm sure my mum was as grateful with me eating my greens LOL.

I literally eat those all the time. I tried it a couple years back and now it's one of my main college-foods. next to ramen noodles.

No one has said onigiri? Because of every anime, ever.

I even bought the little molds so you can make them in different shapes...they really are great if you pack your own lunch too...and you can take whatever you have left over and stuff them inside before rolling them. Genius food item!

I haven't tried something because of a show/game, but I have tried food I read about in a book. Dead Water by Ngaio Marsh had a constable mention a sandwich with cheese and pickles. Not sure why, but it caught my eye. I had some extra-sharp cheddar and sweet gherkins. It actually was pretty good.

Chicken vindaloo-From the tv show Red Dwarf. It's main character Dave Lister's favorite food.I liked it.

cannoli-From a quote in The Godfather:"Leave the gun...take the cannoli".

Have you guys ever had croquets? They talk about that in EVERY anime too.

Ooh, also hot pots look delish....I want to try that, in the middle of the dining room table. I don't think it would even be hard, you just need the pot/cooker. I think I'm gonna try it out...
