flowers you use the least to decorate?

my town hardly has any roses at all and windflowers at all. not because i cant get any but because i just dont like the way they look. even the hybrids.

what flowers do you not use at all to decorate your island?

I don't use many lilies, or loads of roses, and never use pansies as they are a bit of an eyesore. Always have been.

I also don't use primary colors, apart from a few blue hyacinths and green mums.
I don't use white flowers at all.

I mainly use hybrid hyacinths, pink and purple mums, black cosmos, and some black lilies & roses.

I want to use windflowers but I don't think they will work which is too bad since I bred a lot of of purple hybrids. The only roses I kept were my gold ones and they might have to go too.

Gold roses only ever look sort of okay if there are no better, regular flowers nearby. They're doomed to stand all alone because they stand out way too much. They're just not useful for decorating in nearly any theme and I doubt I will ever have a spot on my island where I would want them around.

Pansies. I thought I might use them more since I'm now only decorating with white flowers (previously I preferred pink flowers and pansies are the only ones without a pink variation) but they're just....not pretty lol. They look more blue than white so they just look strange with other flowers.

pansies and roses, mostly - i like the gold roses and the pink one but that’s about it aha,, i’m obsessed with the tulips, though, so i mainly use those aha

i can't really answer in terms of flower type, because i like a certain color from each. i used to abhor pansies until i got the hybrids. the mixture of colors are quite beautiful when you experiment & mix with other colored hybrids.

what i can say is, the orange tulips are so ugly to me omfg. the other colors are beautiful but they are fillers that i just used to get the purple tulips and not really used as a decor. like it's an eyesore compared to the gold roses (which can be beautiful when planted by itself on certain areas). i planted the orange tulips on places where it's not really "displayed", like, on top of cliffs where i won't always be. and even so i mix it with black flowers so it's not as striking. tbh, even the white tulip ones i don't use that much because it's kind of an off-white leaning towards a shade of green instead of ivory. it just bothers me sometimes, but it's nice to plant it with other white flower variations.

i also don't use a lot of the red & yellow flowers. i got rid of a lot of them once i got all the hybrids.

Pansies and roses look really unappealing in my opinion and so i usually stick to lillies and windflowers

Probably windflowers. Hyacinth, lillies, and tulips are my go tos but I could never get over the giant middle in Wind flowers. Roses I use sometimes but just don’t like them very much

My island is still a big WIP but I know I don't plan on using roses, cosmos, and tulips.

My most favorite right now are probably white windflowers, they work well with my Japanese theme. Pansies were my go-to before I discovered windflowers (and because pansies were my native flowers), but I'm contemplating on replacing all white pansies with white windflowers. Orange pansies look well with the imperial fence imo so I'm keeping those hybrids as well.

(I didn't know many people disliked the middle colors of windflowers and pansies, I personally adore them LOL)

I don’t use many roses, lilies or pansies... they’re just my least favourite flower. So much so I’ve not even been bothered trying to get the golden roses Mums and Cosmos are my absolute favourite!

I've used different flower breeds for each section of my island, so some have more than others. I'd say that roses are probably the least, because I only have them planted around my goddess sanctuary. I like them, but I want to keep it to just that area.

The most flowers are probably tulips and pansies, because they are in the two neighborhoods - Sandy Shoals has tulips and Riverbend has pansies. Lilies are planted around Cliffside Campsite and down toward the Council of Gnomes. Mums are around my house at Cedar Falls, mixing with cosmos, which then mix into windflowers for the forest and fairy village. Hyacinths are around the museum and lily of the valley is planted around the shops and RS.

I really dont like yellow and pink roses. Their colour is way too bright and hard to combine with other colours. I wish they would look more like actual roses which have softer colour shades.

i'm not a fan of purple roses in new horizons and i think i only 3 or 4 somewhere on the beach. i just wish they were lighter and more vibrant like they are in new leaf. i also don't use any red flowers in my town. and yellow except few hyacinths, mums and occasional lily!
