Flowers in front of camp site

I've noticed something a bit odd. I've got flowers around my tent campsite and there is a place in front of where the door is where no pattern or flower can be placed, as usual. When there is a tent or igloo there, another flower in front of that disappears. I haven't tried it with paths.

I have never noticed this! I don't personally have the campsite built in my town, but when I was helping my wife landscape (her flowers had grown out of control), I didn't even realize that you can't place a flower at the door area. I do an alternating sequence but just lucked out lol

Did I word that right? It is like they have different required doorway space if a tent is up. Good thing I just lost a white rose.

Either way, I'm thankful I didn't put any of her special flowers near the campsite.

yeah it's happened to me before, I've lost an orange flower to that space xD
so I just don't put anything two spaces in front anymore

What kind of orange flower? I've got spare tulips, pansies, roses and cosmos.

Yeah, you really gotta be careful with those 'entrance' tiles buildings have. I've lost a blue rose to one before.

Oh yeah, I remember that part and I used to surround it flowers. I'm not sure if I lost a hybrid or a common flower before. I just put patterns to be safe. Even then, it's annoys me when I have to put the patterns back whenever there is a tent. Sometimes, I just leave the space as it is since there's going to be another tent sooner lol

I've had a fossil spawn there before, I'm thinking a pattern or a common flower might be better in that spot.

Unfortunately, it does this in mine and disrupts the path. I placed the campsite down and, since it wasn't technically a building, it didn't register the front middle tile as an 'entrance' to anywhere.

Every time a vilager camps, they plow down that tile. I can replace it when they're gone but boy, did that get tedious.

This happens to me! And I have an alt with my path designs so I can have the pattern slots for something else. So I have to log out and log in with the other person.
