Flowers disappear from island?

Hi guys.
So I had many flowers planted on my island. Today I went to my island for my nightly bug-hunting only to discover ALL of my flowers being gone . I definitely didn't run through them or anything like that. Any idea if this is a bug or know how it could of happened?​

I don't think I know of any instance where flowers just disappeared... It might be a glitch/bug or something ~(>_<~)
