Flower Watering: Love it or hate it

I adore watering flowers, it always has been one my favorite things in Animal Crossing! ♥

I don't want unrestricted flowers, so I've started using a completely transparent tile as a "bed border" to keep flowers from spawning beyond where I want them around houses or along paths. It doesn't change the look of anything but it keeps things contained. Just a thought for those who have flowers running rampant. I know one rainy day can cause an explosion of new blooms.

It was annoying when I was first trying to get every hybrid and I literally had 100s of flowers but now that I only have blue roses left and I’m water like 20 roses I don’t mind it! Def like watering other ppls flowers more bc it’s nice!

I think I enjoy it and find it relaxing because the amount of flowers I make a habit of watering daily is small enough that I can just customize my watering can once a day and never have to worry about it breaking. A service to water people's flowers is something I'd consider doing given time and a desperate need for Bell inflow.

Love watering my flowers! It has rained 4 out of the last 5 days on my island, and much as I enjoy the rain in other ways, it always bums me out a bit when I don't need to do any watering.

I love watering flowers! I find it relaxing. It’s hard to keep track of what I watered, but I like doing it anyway! I have taken a couple watering gigs, but I’m not exactly sure if I would do a service for people as I’m afraid that it would become like a chore for me.

I think I'd enjoy it more if the tools didn't explode in my little knob hands.

Like every time I use my golden watering can, I'm just waiting for the day it turns into pieces of shrapnel.

I can't get over the phrase "little knob hands," but if you're only using the Golden Watering Can for Gold Roses, you can exploit the system by pre-watering with a regular Watering Can, and then using the Golden Watering Can, and you don't have to worry about gold shrapnel. All Watering Cans won't take durability damage when watering tiles that have already been watered, but the Golden Watering Can can still "activate" Black Roses that have already been watered. Using the Golden Watering Can after it rains has the same effect. Water, water, water.

But if you're watering all your flowers with the Golden Watering Can just because you enjoy the thrill, then don't mind me. : P

I would enjoy it if my island wasn't overrun with literally ~1000 flowers lol. I don't water them anymore because I don't want any more flowers atm... Thankfully I have a trade pending with someone who is going to take the majority of them off my hands.

I don't like it but I don't hate it either.
When I needed hybrids I used to forget to water the flower a lot...now each time it rains is a pain because I have already more than enough flowers and I have to waste shovels and travel the entire island looking for unwanted sprouts.

It always has me on the edge because I expect the watering can to break at any moment, so it's more of a nerve-wrecking experience for me. Since flowers spread like fleas, I leave it up to the rain, anyway, and only water the three windflowers I've got hoping that they might breed some time.

It's not the worst thing but I don't necessarily enjoy doing it. Rainy days are a blessing especially when I am going for purple roses.
