Flower power?

As some of you (or none of you idk) know, I run a hybrid shop. Some people have a hard time breeding purple pansies and tulips, but I can do them with ease. However, I'm struggling to breed while carnations! Why is this? I use the same method... I put them in the x formation, and tried putting Jacob ladders around it, but they don't help.

I had some trouble getting a white carnation in the beginning too, My tips are:

1: Place two pink carnations next to each other
2: Water them with a golden can
3: Burry fertilizer next to them
And repeat this process until you got your first one.

The second white one is exactly the same, only place a pink and a white carnation next to each other (that should grow another white one even quicker)

Now that you got your second white carnation, there's no other flower that can be bred when two white ones are standing next to each other.

Hope this helped, and yes, it might take a while before you get your first and second white carnation. But once you got them, it's pretty easy to make a whole field of them.

I still dont have purple pansies and Ive been trying for what seems like forever. Just yesterday I got my first purple tulip after several months. Takes lots of time and patience

I fertilized the whole area twice. Didn't work D:. I have 10 from hybrid trading, but I still don't got

I keep going from March to like July and then going back. I guess I'll keep trying. I have 0 idea why the purple pansies breeded so well

i have my beach pretty much covered in black hybrids and white carnations. all i do is water them with my golden watering can. i have them in an x formation, i have no fertilizer or jacob ladders around it or anything. i get a few hybrids every day

i didnt breed my first two purple pansies. i bought them instead and watered them (without fertilizers) everyday and now i have a huge field of purple pansies. white carnations are pretty easy for me too. i even get them when i try to breed my pink carnations.
