Flower Placement Ideas

As I begin the fill Twinleaf with flowers, I've decided to put rings of them around each of my permanent villagers' houses. Problem is I'm stumped on what type of flowers to use and what colors.
Anyone care to share some ideas?

I can't say for the others, but around Marshal's house I have blue roses and blue pansies.

For Julian I wanted to do a rainbow line of flowers before. Indigo and green would be missing, but the effect should still be there and would be quite fitting for me

I used to always color code flowers around my villager houses according to their colors, so like pinks nd white roses around Diania, blue around Wolfgang, etc.

I put red, yellow, and white flowers arounds my villagers houses, but I'm a person who likes to showcase every type of something and since I already have hybrids swamping my town, why not regular flowers right lol

I definitely think if you're looking for specific colors that go with the villagers' designs, then I would follow mylifeiscake's suggestion.

If not, then maybe whatever color your town theme already has. If it's a fairytale town, whites, pinks, and purples are some nice combos that I've seen before, maybe blues too. Usually roses are the go to flowers, but any kind would look awesome I'm sure.

Another suggestion would be to use the more "high end" types of flowers like jacob's ladders and gold roses, or maybe even clovers to surround the houses since you said these are permanent villagers. They're probably gonna hard to get though but it's a thought^^

I used to have Diana, and I decorated the area new her house with mostly blue, purple, and white flowers! Namely, purple roses, blue violets, and white cosmos~ In Marshal's house, I surrounded it with blue pansies and blue roses

I think Blue Pansies would look cool near Wolfgang's place. I do the same thing. Used to have a bunch of white roses around Fang's house.

My Diana has a flowerbed around her which resembles the flower set up from Florence (talesofflorence tumblr blog). Pink/purple roses, white/purple violets and white pansies.

I had plain white tulips around Papi's house once too which I thought looked swanky, for non-hybrids, could work well for Wolfgang.

My Julian has a rainbow of pansies around him, because he is FABULOUS and up in the clouds.

I always use the colors of their siding and roof to give me inspiration.

I love doing this! I put purple and white violets around Wolfgang's house in my town, but I think any blue flowers would work well, too.
