Flower Debate :p

Hey!
Recently I sort of gave my town a new "Makeover".
I replaced my paths, made new PWP's, lined my paths with bushes, etc..
But I repeatedly run out of flowers :/
I just wanted to know how a lot of you get your flowers.. Do you get them from tours on the Island, just take the couple that Leif sells you, or just buy them all on here?
When i desperately need them, I get them from the Island, although I think that's kind of a hastle, but for rare flowers,
(such as the gold;blue;black Roses and Jacobs Ladders, I usually buy on here.

Would love to hear your opinions

I get them from the Island most of the time.
Sometimes I buy them from Leif aswell but I haven't bought some off of here before.

After playing regularly for years, buying from Main Street, stealing from the island and purchasing hybrids here while having the Beautiful Ordinance so none of them die; my town is now almost completely covered in flowers. Mostly it was the time factor I suppose.

I breed my flowers usually myself. I've never gotten them off the site

I am the same as you. If I'm looking for regular flower colors, I go to the island. If I'm looking for hybrids, I usually shop on here.

I mainly buy off the site. The only flowers I sorta lazily breed are blue roses. I tried breeding purple pansies(my favourite,) but failed miserably.. went back to buying.

I just got rid of more than 50% of my regular flowers because beautiful ordinance (combined with time traveling, which I do) was making them get out of hand.

As for hybrids, I tried breeding all sorts at a time before, but s o m u c h watering. So now I just stick to a colour or a kind, and buy the rest on here.

I have the keep town beautiful ordinance and I have TOO MUCH flowers, I COULD give them to you (please)(No hybrids (>~<) )

Dont have any regular flowers so i just dig em up when they spawn

Early on I just got them island tours. With the Beautiful Town ordinance the villagers take care of the rest. If anything, I tend to have too many these days.

I just kept watering my flowers and they gradually made more and made hybrids after a while. Then I put the hybrid flowers on the beach and water them there. So they won't get run over or touched by villagers.

I need my hybrids - watering every night before the next day - planting on the beach and focusing on one color at a time.

Then when I had enough I accent hybrids with regular red, white or yellow flowers in patterns along the paths.

Regular non hybrids can make areas with hybrids look more full and lush
