sup~ I'm in need of inspiration for a big patch of land I have reserved for a flower garden (zen/forest town)

what are some of your favourite flower combinations?

I don't know what your color scheme is, or if you even have one, but I think lilies and violets give a definite zen forest vibe. Some of the combinations I've used are:

- White, pink, and red lilies
- White lilies, blue and purple violets
- White, blue, and purple violets
- White lilies, purple violets, red roses
- White, red, and black lilies with purple violets
- Red lilies, purple violets, and Jacob's ladders
- White and orange lilies
- White, orange, and black lilies
- White, orange, red, and black lilies

I find that the way the flowers are done is usually based upon the colors used throughout the rest of town. My town is personally a Natural Town with Zen elements and I use every color in the rainbow and all flower types. :) Here's a picture below of my rose garden which utilizes all possible colors of rose and I place my flowers here in a particular way that I do not see a lot of towns do: Dynamic Placement. With this flower placing method, I basically made it so no flowers of the same color ever are aligned with each other within a player's line of sight which creates a very colorful view from all angles! I hope this helps! :D

Not exactly just flower combination, but when you put bamboos and trees together, it could go nicely with zen theme?

@LadyDestani

I don't have a colour scheme at all as I've been trying a lot of combos until something fits a particular area I'm working on.. but still no luck since i have a bunch of areas that have a solid colour. I will defs have a look at these flower combinations and see what works! Thanks ;)

Hi! Actually i'm really addicting with landscamping.
Here some good example: https://imgur.com/a/eOcCmdy
The trick is: go randomly, don't be accurate with the preparation, add some random bushes, trees/bamboo, cut trees/bamboo too, mushroom, clovers and paths for make all more natural.

I'm really paticular about what flowers I use and what I combine them with. Here are some combos I find work well with each other:

Pink roses and white lillies
Yellow violets and white pansies
Pink cosmos, yellow tulips and orange roses
Black cosmos and gold roses
Purple tulips, white lillies/roses, pink cosmos and yellow tulips
Blue roses and yellow tulips

Idk if you wanted a 2, 3, or 4 combo, so I added a few.

I second what LaFra said. I think the areas in your photos look nice, but they lack some kind of break up. Using trees, stumps, bamboo, cut bamboo, bushes, etc or even leaving natural open spaces and paths would add interest.
