Flower Combination Options

Ah okay so I'm currently (and finally) working on Orion, and I've been working on landscaping (duh). I've decided to, at least for now, move away from one-flower-towns and one-flower-only areas (instead of just solid tulips, I'll mix them with lilies, roses & lilies, etc.)

I've come here to ask two things.

One: What are good flower combinations you know of?

Two: For Stitches house, I've set out three different combinations of colours & flowers, and would like your opinion on which would be best? I don't want to have too many houses with lily-tulip combos (so far Drago and Kitt have lily-tulip combinations).

I like roses and pansies or tulips and carnations. As for stiches house the rose and tulips look ok. I'm personally not a fan of lilies at all.

I like the blue and red, because it ties in with the red window frame. I think the lilies look fine, but red tulips might look good too!

I think the red of the lilies is too light for his house? Maybe, as you suggested, red tulips or red roses would be better! ^-^ Thanks!

and if you like cosmos i think orange cosmos and blue roses would also fit nicely with Sitches' home.

I always love pink lilies and black lilies together.

What other villagers do you have it might be easy to pick a great combo of flowers basing it off their exteriors!

I currently have Kitt, Molly, Vivian (for Molly + Vivian i was thinking purple pansy or purple rose + yellow or white tulips/other flowers?), Wolfgang, Dobie (boxed), Marshal, Drago, Fang, Kyle, and Stitches (but you knew this one)

I'll tell ya what I'd do for all of them!
Outside of Stitches house, I'd put blue pansies and orange tulips. I don't like the way tulips and roses look right next to eachother.
For Kyle's house, I'd actually put dandelions and dandelion puffs outside of his, considering his scruffy look. If you don't like that, then I'd just plant clovers outside of his house.
For Fang's house, I've set out yellow lillies. I think white and yellow cosmos and lillies go best with him.
For Wolfgang, I'd put out blue and black roses. Blue roses are really hard to get, and they'd go really nicely with his sophisticated look.
For Vivian, I'd give her white carnations and white/purple violets.
I'd give Molly orange cosmos and pansies to go with the bright, warm colors of her house.
To go with Drago's look of his house, I'd give him Jacob's ladders and red carnations, and maybe some white cosmos or tulips.
For Marshal, I'd give him pink lillies/carnations and white cosmos.
I'd give Kitt purple roses and orange lillies.
