Floating block / star glitch

Has anyone else had trouble with thie floating block and star from the Mario series? I placed them both outdoors on an open, grassy area. The star immediately bounced to the top of my floating block. I don't know if that part is important or not. Anyway, I could not pick up either item to move or put away. I tried building a platform next to them so I could get higher but that didn't work. (I was on the sea level by the way.)

Anyway I was able to fix the problem by requesting a cleanup using the island designer app. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this problem.

I think it’s because you can set items on top of the block, like you can with the ice pillar. You should be able to stand next to and pick it up like you would any other item. A workaround to get it from not going on top of the floating brick is just placing it one block away from the floating block then scoot it closer

yeah it wasn't letting me pick it up or move it -- I think it's a glitchy item is my suspicion.

Haha no worries - yes using the clean up solution was it. I'm just curious if other people experienced this weird issue.
