Flies

I have not been able to have any flies spawn in my town and am wondering if it's because I have beautiful ordinance. I even got a boot and left it out, but no flies! I went to another town with rafflesia that had flies, but I get there, and NO FLIES!!! I greatly dislike flies, but want to catch one :'(

Hi... no it's not because of beautiful town ordinance.. I got my fly from a rotten turnip... and I had beautiful town ordinance on

I've had rotten fruit and got ants... I've heard of the turnip thing, but never paid it much mind... I'll try that next!

Rotten fruit doesn't spawn flies, in case you weren't aware. Try using a rotten turnip since, in my experience, rotten turnips spawned flies almost every time I was around it.

Yep, Rotton Turnip works best.
Also, the fly does not spawn when you have visitors. (as well as other bugs)

Bad luck I guess. If you don't have a rafflesia, buy a pack of ten turnips,and leave it on the ground outside,if you aren't patient time travel a minute forward or backwards.

I have a rafflesia and there are no flies when I have visitors. Turnip is your best bet.

A tire, can or boot would work as well but you can't catch them as long as you've got the beautiful ordinacine

Sometimes it takes awhile for the fly to show up.
I put a rotten turnip down and nothing happened. Walk away and do other things. It should show up.
