Flies definitely don't exist.

when I was hunting for flies as weird as that sounds. I would have many trash scattered then see if it spawn. If there wasn't I would save and exit then reenter the game. Going into the building did not respawn the fly for me.

i can confirm that putting trash on a stone path works! (maybe all the other sealed ones too?) i dropped some old boots on my path and left them there for a while out of laziness and i think i caught about 4 flies over the couple of days i left them there. worth a try if you keep getting ants instead
