Flag suggestions designs

Hii there !!


So Im a bit torn, I have been playing the game for months now and i have not done anything to the flag yet as I was to preoccupied with my town layout which I am still i fell like im changing my island layout every now and then as a way to find my expression and to get more familiarized with the tools, which means my town island layout still needs some maturing, my island is currently on a new revamp of it, HOWEVER, for some reason I found a type of inspiration for my island flag which I would like to share with you all cause I know there are tons of artists out there and would love to hear your comments and suggestions. I am torn between trying to fabricate a tradition flag as we know in real life or moving towards more unconventional terrain. Its nothing spectacular and its pretty simple what I have for now, but I rather be me who did it than getting someone to do it for me for some reason .

So with out further delay here she is:

For me its like a symbolism like you have in the center the idolized beauty and perfection in a beautiful single pot which is what in one way or another we all strive for or in our own way try to achieve ( our own way of perfection and beauty ) I know in the game this flower does not have spines but i thought that in order to achieve this one must toughen up in certain ways so yeah then I surrounded this ideolization by another type of beauty which is wild and cannot be control or detained. The bees is just cause i felt it was just to empty up there hehehe.


What you think? can this be consider a town flag or is it just to much like "hmm" Looking forward for your thoughts and suggestions for town flags ​

PS: ill probably re-edit the little leaf of the right weed cause i think it looks a bit weird

I think it looks super cute! I like how you've put thought into the meanings behind everything. I am by no means an artist haha so can't give an in-depth evaluation but I think it'd be a great town flag!
mine is just a design I found online, I keep meaning to put more thought into it but like you I've been more preoccupied with the layout

I have a flower flag. I love flower flags, and yours is adorable! Its a great town flag for your island and the symbolism behind it is pretty meaningful. I think job well done!

Thanks! its simple but to be honest when i started working on there was light outside and when i finished there wasn't lol . I am glad you like it and that the design so to say can be used as flag, cause i was very worried that it would look to much like a painting and therefore not suitable for a town flag. Thanks a lot for you opinion i very much value it !

Yai !!! i was super worried that my design was not gonna be accepted as a flag cause it looked more like a painting so to say, so very happy there is someone more out there with a similar flag type , thank you very much for you opinion really appreciate it and value that you took the time to give me your vision

If you like it, then it is a good flag! I think flower flags are pretty and I love coming across unique ones.

Mine is just a heart with an oak leaf on top of it. Oakheart (get it?).

I am still torn, i like what i drew but im not sure if it qualifies for flag material, i might try something else soon for the moment i have put this as my flag . Thanks for coming in and giving me your perspective

I think a flag can be whatever you want it to be. You seemed worried it looked too much like a painting, but I don't see anything wrong with that, tbh. It's nice when there's a variety of simple and complex designs for flags among the community. Mine is boring, tbh. It's just a quarter rest on a staff with a parchment-colored (might as well be white) background. I like yours, and the bees are cute

Thaaaanks for your point of view, super appreciate it and glad you like it, i think i might eventually change it although im not sure hahah, cause maybe its just RL notions affecting my imagination i guess but somehow i feel a flag has to have like not drawings but lines and colors etc , you know what i mean ? ()


Im gonna make a threat now, to see if pp want to share their flags and talk about them a bit, i would love to see what pp have as their flag and how they express themselves .Please do post a photo of your flag you are feeling like it, im sure if it is something its precisely not boring ! im super sure !

I guess my imagination is just to pressed i guess one can say with RL notions so this is what im guessing and while i feel what i made as a flag looks to me more like a painting than a flag cause im just to used to have flags be more formal and simple i guess like just (...)
So for me i guess i just need to exercise my brain to think out of the box

Thaanks, however you are too kind it was an idea i had and i tried my best but designing in AC with isn't extremely hard but it kind of is at the same time hahahah after the winter contests from TBT where i used the tool for the first time i found it to be a ton of fun and i guess thats how i manage to actually after 300 days of playing the game to actually say "okey , lets give it a go" hehehe. Its easier when you have a photo or several images of what you want to recreate in photo so you have a visual to guide you. Thaaaanks a lot for your opinion and also glad you like it
