There are so many villagers in the game that I think would look so much better with judt a few minor changes. An example is Diva. I think if you removed the sideburn things, the lipstick (which may actually be able to stay), and the eye makeup stuff, then she would actually be a decent looking villager.
What are some villagers you think would look much better with just some minor changes?
I think Hazel could do without her unibrow
Snake might also look nice if he wasn’t soooo pink.
Soleil would look nice without her bangs
Sylvia and her baby would look good without their hair
Tiffany would be cute without her mean eyebrows
^^^^ I actually really like Shep's shaggy hair! It's his creepy cyclops eye that peeks through it when he's surprised that really puts me off. Either give him another eye or at least make the eye a little nicer to look at & see with (poor Shep).
okay here are what i think need to be fixed, agnes she needs new eyes, alice she needs a better nose in my opinion she is ugly..., baabara also needs a new face, barold needs to be removed XD theirs nothing i could do too him to make him cool, benjamin needs a better face in my opinion, buck needs new eyebrows, thats a few of the ones that i think need to be improved
Most villagers who are considered 'ugly' have such iconic looks, and that's a big part of who they are to people. I love them the way they are but at the same time, I would change a few small things if I could, lol.
Leonardo needs a little more color in his color scheme, maybe some white on his snout to balance out the monochrome yellow he has?
Most penguins look very similar to each other. Only Wade and Sprinkle really stand out to me. I'd love if their color schemes were a little more diverse!
I guess most of my nitpicks stem from the color choices for everybody. It's also the reason why Moe & Tom look so similar, and & why I find Charlise a little hard to look at. Same goes for Puddles & Sylvia to name just a few.
Love the thread topic, though! Funny to really analyze some villagers and discover new things about ones you've never even heard of
The cat villagers and I mean not only the current ones that existed, but also future cat villagers.
I feel like they could need some more details, like, details that shows more their fluffiness (at least
some of them). Their faces are just round, no parts of hair on their cheeks or something like that.
It's like every cat villager is a "smooth hair cat" (I don't know the correct name for these cats) and
not a persian cat and those very fluffy cats... You know what I mean? I know it's not a big deal
and I still like the cat villagers like they are. After all, it's just a thought.
(Actually, I could also say the same to the squirrel villagers too to be honest. But yeah...)
I think I'd really like Biskit if only he had some pupils.
Similarly, if Jeremiah and Clyde had eyes that were more normal compared to their slits, I think it'd improve their appearances a lot as well.
Hopkins is ruined for me by the little thing on the back of his head. I loved him before I saw that.
Baabara's eyes look stitched shut, which creeps me out; I think she'd be a decent-looking villager otherwise.
Some villagers look good with droopy eyelids, but I think Beau, Hamlet, and Kody would look better without.
Boots' eyes look really freaky.
Cally's eyes are way too far up on her face.
I adore Caroline, but her green eyelids have always bothered me since they clash too much with her bright orange fur.
I also like Claudia, but I think I've seen some emotions from her where villagers usually have their eyes closed but hers look slightly open (I think happiness is one of them), and it bothers me.
I remember seeing a picture of Cole before NL was released and I absolutely loved him, but then I saw a more detailed picture showing his mouth. Not a fan.
Ellie and Vivian's awful colour schemes.
Flurry's lack of a nose is a little off-putting to me.
I love Jitters' colour scheme, despise his eyes.
Naomi, Cube, and Stella's eyes.
Kabuki's mouth and eyebrows.
Lyman and Twiggy's eyebrows.
Kiki was adorable when I had her in WW. They ruined her eyes in NL. I like all the cat designs from earlier games better than NL's, but poor Kiki suffered the most.
I'm not a fan of Moe's mouth, which I don't think looks that bad in WW but I don't like it as much in NL.
I don't like the NL bear models, so while I don't like most of the bears' designs anyway, Pinky would be way cuter as a cub.
Something about Cheri's mouth is off-putting to me. Either the shape or having it a little too far up or both.
The wolves' mouths open too much. It doesn't look as bad with ones like Lobo and Fang, but it looks very weird to me with Skye.
Tad's mouth with some of his emotions looks really weird, like an infinity symbol or something.
I wish the cat designs in general weren't so long and scrawny. I liked their model in City Folk and Wild World and prefer them to be on the pudgier side. Some villagers are cute but look a little off because they're missing a nose.. you know, making the ":3" face. Maybe it would look weird with a nose but I just find it strange when animals are missing basic features like that. Also, Chevre and Nan of the goat villagers look like they have a giant camel toe on their face.
