Has anyone skipped ahead to find out what the deal is with this event in the new game? Pretty sure it wont be the same as New Leaf. Of course it will be during the Bunny Day event. Please don't feel obligated to look into this since I brought it up.

No idea i dont use it so i didnt try it. I would assume you can but it will take up time since you only have 3 mins to catch them

Yes during one of the runs i caught 3 water eggs in a row :/

To answer, you can use bait to lure out any fish and they will count! The ideal strategy is to have at least a stack of 10 and that'll usually last you the whole 3 minutes if you're aiming for the rewards. At 100 collective points, you will get a trophy mailed to you the next day.

Nope! There's no 'point' system really. It's literally just catch as many fish as you can!

If you catch 10 sharks, it's 10 fish or 'points' total.

If you catch 10 sea bass, it's 10 fish all the same!

I like it more now... before it was just keep as many sharks as you could in your house after fishing them from the island

Does anyone know the answer to this: if you get 300 points, do you get all 3 trophies, or is it like HHA where you will get the bronze trophy for this tourney, the silver at the next, and the gold at the next?
