Fish Tank help? ;_;

I have a little goldfish named Sakura, and yesterday my little sister was playing with her and half of her tail is gone now. It can't swim right, and I know she doesn't have tail rot or a bladder problem, but is she going to die?

How do you "accidentally rip" a part of a gold fish's tail.....tell that stupid sister of yours

She's sitting at the bottom of the tank, but she's barely breathing.
I'm going to go get her medication at midnight when the doorbusters start.
