First Snowfall of 2016 ((Spoiler))

Hello there!!

I time traveled to the first big snowstorm day, 12/10/16 @3PM. There was no snowfall all day oddly and a fishing tourney was being held instead. Time traveling to the next day 12/11/16 @3PM and there's a snowfall on the ground like the blizzard happened at some point. I thought this was so bizarre and I time traveled to earlier on 12/11/16 to see if I was just missing a snowfall and there's nothing all night but around 7AM, the town is covered in snow but it didn't blizzard. I was super disappointed because one of my favorite winter activities is running around during that first heavy blizzard. I even got a post on my Town Bulletin Board that after 12/9/16, there would be a big snowfall and to bundle up that day.

I was wondering, if anyone else has time traveled that far ahead, have you experienced this or is my game just being buggy? Thanks!

So the Fishing Tourney will make the blizzard nonexistent at all? ;-;
This was something that I was thinking about when I saw the tourney announcement and I expected it to be cancelled or something...

Every single event in NL has to be clear. What's stopping something that has to appear anyway? Its like messing with nature.

I time traveled too because I needed bush starts and the exact same thing happened to me. I was confused so I time traveled back to 12/10 and there was no blizzard but the town was covered in snow the next day. Weird.

Zebra, there is a snowstorm before all of the snow is on the ground, trees, bushes etc. In years past, it starts on 12/10 and then 12/11 is when the snow is officially covering everything.

Thanks for confirming it's not just my game, guys. Kind of weird they don't let two events coincide, especially if one is just weather! Ah well, there will be other blizzard days

This is why the Fishing Tourney shouldn't stay through the month of December. In my opinion it should've just been June and November just like in the GameCube games.

You'd enjoy it as long as the snow isn't yellow.

I could be wrong but if you time travel to the 10th, snow won't fall on that day but it will appear on the next day. I don't know if that's the case if you did not TT to the 10th or TT'd a day before.
