I have only gotten two pictures myself too because I don't really try that hard to get them. Still, I think it's a very good feeling when they do give them to you, especially when you're not trying too hard! Good luck with the next ones

sandy was my third villager, but she's been the only one so far to ever give me their portrait. i've been playing the game for quite a bit, as well, but admittedly i don't give villagers gifts every single day, so i'm not doing the best i can in achieving their friendship points

They will only mail you their photo if you give a gift but you dont have room in your pockets to accept a return gift. I was told by a wise person that it makes it more likely to get a photo. It seems to work

My first photo was given by Kyle I believe. Which happened all the way back on 5/2/2020. He was my second move-in after the required smug. I still have a screenshot of the occasion.

I just had to share I know I am possibly the last person here to get a villager pic but I finally got one in the mail from Audie She was one of my first villagers and I thought that it would never happen. Just luck I gave her a random pumpkin and my pockets were full so she had to mail it .

A late congratulations! I think my first one was Fuschia. I got her picture two days under a month . She is not a favorite villager of mine though; she was one of my starters. But after I got hers, I got Merry, Lily (same day due to tting). The two that took me longer were Punchy and Kiki - my top two favorites.

Cesar was my first one and it took a bit. Rocco took the absolute longest for me. He just would not give it up.

Getting that first picture is always such a treat!

I can't remember anymore who gave me my first framed picture. I've been playing since the day this game was released. While I do enjoy getting the pictures, it's never a goal for me, even when I played Wild World and New Leaf. So I don't keep track of how long it takes. In NH, some of my residents have been with me for so long that I've actually received two pictures from them. I don't know what to do with the duplicate pictures. They're just sitting in my storage. It would be way more interesting if subsequent pictures actually showed different poses.

Congrats! Nate was the first to give me his photo. Now I think I have 12 villager photos. I’m trying to collect as many as I can so I have to let my villagers move out, but it’s hard because I get attached to them.

I feel your pain - It was quite late into August until I got my first one! Then I ended up getting two on the same day a couple of weeks later. Still at three but haven't properly gifted for a while so probably need to restart that!

Pietro was my first - then Dom and Beau same day.

A late congrats! Mint was the first villager to gift me hers; it was a pleasant surprise. It took Goldie about four months to gift me hers. More recently, it's taken me about a month or so to get photos from the villagers I'm just cycling and not necessarily keeping around for the long-term. I've noticed that I tend to get one when I'm not looking to get one in particular. xD

Everytime I talk to him he says he is so glad of our friendship, but nothing more.
It's probably my fault though for not putting enough effort in gifting him regularly.
