First of the month luck?

Is it just me or is fish hunting and bug hunting for the new stuff easy on the first of the month? It’s as if the game is more forgiving as soon as the new month rolls around. I caught almost all of the bugs and fishes, without trying that hard. So weird!

I already got all the new fish and bugs (except for the giant snakehead) for June for the Northen Hemisphere so I'm happy it went quickly and I don't need to worry about not getting them! Going on islands and resetting spawns is a great way to get all the fish/bugs you need, it really helps. I tried 350 bait for a mahi-mahi but never got it and I tried like 30 today and I finally got it! This is definitely some first of the month luck!

i’ve always thought this! while some things are easier to catch than others, i always typically catch more on the first day of the month than on any other day ;;

I thought the spawn rates did seem generous yesterday. I was fortunate to catch quite a bit of sharks, but I haven't caught all varieties yet though. Maybe I should invest in getting fish bait again to push my luck.

I’m in the Southern Hemisphere but I caught the oarfish as like the second fish I encountered! Now to try and find the elusive string fish...

the spawn rates for the bigger fishes in the rivers and in the ocean have definitely decreased today, compared to yesterday. Does anyone else feel the same?
