First Few Villager Homes?

Hi, I have a few questions I can’t seem to find a straight answer to, so any help would be appreciated!

So I was lucky enough to get Audie on my first island, making her my third villager. However, I’ve seen people claim your first villagers end up with generic houses full of crafted furniture.

Does this apply to just your first two villagers, or your first five?

Can I kick out a villager with an ugly home, and reinvite them back for their normal home? Will they remember me?

Does anyone know what Audie’s normal home looks like? All I can find online is the same home she has on my island, I’d like to know if I should bother kicking her out and finding her again, or if I can just settle for what she has now.

As far as I’m aware it’s just the first two villagers - the ones I’ve invited after that have all had normal furniture I’m unsure about the other questions you have though.

as far as i’m aware - it only seems to be your starter villagers. the three villagers that moved in after them + every villager since has an actual house design instead of default crafting furniture

You can invite villagers back later but they won't remember you. I'm not sure if it applies to your first 5 or 2 but here's a picture of my audie if you want to compare (she's not in her house rn so I can't get a better pic sorry)

Your first 5 will have generic houses. Everyone's starter Lazy, Peppy and Normal have the same interior. I've seen a few post where people say that they've been able to kick one of these 5 villagers out and re-invite them without having to wait to cycle them in like in NL. They'll have their true interior then.

Their exterior houses are their original ones regardless if they’re your first five or not. It’s their interiors that differ. If they’re you’re starting two, they’ll barely have anything because they’ll fill it in little by little with DIY stuff they built. They were with you in tents. They had nothing, so that kinda makes sense. If they’re your villagers 3-5, they’ll have a starter house with DIY furniture YOU built for them before they moved in. Remember those requirements Nook had you submit before he sold the three plots to villagers 3-5 because he promised a fully furnished house? Those things. Also makes sense, because YOU furnished those houses and they just moved in so they don’t have their own stuff.

Here’s the problem. If you got a dreamie in your first five, their house interiors wouldn’t look their own. They’re standard, generic houses that don’t have their own stuff unique to them. If that bothers you, you’d have to let them go and try to see if you can get them back again. Good news, no 16 villager cycle count. You’ll have a chance to get them back again IF you’re lucky. Bad news, they won’t remember you. So it’s all your choice. I have two dreamies as my starters. I’m not letting them go. I’ve built friendship with them already. And what if I’m not as lucky this time around? I won’t leave that to RNG. I don’t care about their house interiors. I’m barely in their houses anyway. Plus, at least I’m reminded they’re with me from the start and that they were there through our journey of building up the island.

Based on that picture of Audie’s house, I may want to try to get her again in the future, it looks so cool! It’s unfortunate their houses never seem to transform much, though.

At the same time, I do understand the appeal of keeping the original interior around. She’sthe only original villager I’ll be keeping, so maybe it just makes her more special!

I completely understand where you are coming from! I found Audie on a mystery island and she was my 3rd villager. I think the risk of letting her go if you really love her is too high. Have you seen the crazy auctions for her on here? I'm keeping that cutie and her basic furniture.
