Fired workers burn Indian executive to death

It isn't about a right to work it is about a right to live. Without a job they can't sustain themselves or their families, India isn't exactly in the easiest place to get a job in. They are desperate, but what really fuels this kind of horrible act is anger, often misdirected at the messenger. Is it sad? Yes on many levels but really what can be done? If I got fired from a job I needed to keep my family fed I would definitely be upset, and anyone with a higher up desk job would seem like a logical outlet. And though it isn't entirely logical, that is because they are way beyond that. emotion is what fuels an angry mob.

This would never happen 20+ years ago.

What do you mean by "this"?

Are you talking about in India twenty years ago? Are you talking about workers attacking their executives twenty years ago? Are you talking about people killing other people twenty years ago?

The 80s and 90s weren't perfect.

Just in general of how extreme people will get in this day and age over things that cannot be helped. And i realize the 80's and 90's werent perfect but the amount of this happening was much less due to the fact that people still had a right of mind.

Um people are this extreme from time to time, at least once yearly somewhere. I mean really I bet you could drudge up something from any time period...

Things just seemed less because as a kid you A. get sheltered from things like this, B. Don't watch the news or truly comprehend or care what is going on.

What are you talking about? Wasn't it during Vietnam that people were protesting, sometimes violently, in the streets? Organized violence, especially mob violence, is not uncommon or new.

Or, you know, the Bolshevik Revolution. That happened almost a century ago.

i'm the only one who noticed the irony?
or did no one wanna say it?

"i guess you could say;
they fired him."
YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm surprised noone saw that.
Nice pun there dude xD

That is just terrible. D:
I understand those workers must have been extremely frustrated.
As mentioned before the competion for jobs is pretty high in India. Also, considering the enviorment most of those workers were most likely around it's quite easy to see how they'd be able to do something like this. Still though D:
