Woah! Finding the perfect map really takes some time. I'm searching for the perfect one at this very moment. How long did it take you to find the perfect map? Or did you just chose the best one from the options?
I've been looking for about 30 minutes now. Didn't find anything yet.
When I started my game, the very first map shown to me felt "right". I don't know how to really explain it, but everything looked great to me. Aside from the later rock positions which started to annoy me to this day when I want to place PWP I really do love my overall town layout.
I've been to many towns and seen many towns layouts but I always seem to enjoy my layout better overall. Perhaps I was just lucky, maybe the AC rng gods were with me XD but I hope you too can find the best layout for you as I did for me.
After I restarted my game for the 3rd time it took me about an hour and a half or so to find a map I really loved. It might be a lot of work, but youll find that in the end itll be worth it and that itll make the game much more enjoyable
The day I got the game I just picked one of the first four maps shown to me because I wanted to start playing. But I started feeling unhappy with it the very same day, so I restarted the following day. Only took two tries to find a map I was happy with, luckily!
With my first town, not too long. I was just starting out, so I didn't know that picking the "perfect map" would affect much. However, I did notice that the Retail and town hall were close to the train station/shopping center, but I wish I tried longer for a better one. In the end, not enough space for everything I needed.
With my second, and with the "wisdom" from my experience with the first, I found a better one. This took a good 10 minutes though lol.
With my third, about 15 min, since I was feeling extra picky ^^;
It took me like the whole day. It could've been less since I had found some maps that I really liked and it had everything I wanted but they either had too many rocks or it wasn't the fruit I wanted. but thankfully I found a really nice map, sadly not with apples, but peaches are aight too and I'm happy the way it's turning out!
I didn't know there were more than four maps when I started so I picked one randomly. Two weeks later I hated it so I restarted. Thankfully it only took me two tries to get the map I really wanted and now I'm happy with it.
mmmm first time i played, i think i picked from the first couple of maps. it took me a couple of hours to find my current map.

i didnt want to try and get a perfect holy map of awesomeness because of my theme and so i got this. apples and circle grass but blue train station. its ok.
it took me about two hours to find my current map. it was very time consuming but im glad i went through all that resetting as now i couldn't be any more happier with my map. even though there are some flaws like stupid rocks being placed at really awkward placing and two of my dreamies as the starter villagers in kinda bad placing, i wouldn't reset for another map.
