Filbert Versus Marshal Showdown!

Marshal. Definitely. I prefer his silly/cute smug personality + he's way cuter. His colours are pretty(&matching!) and just look at his little mouth, aww.
Filbert is kinda cute but his eyes are kind of creepy. And I'm not a big fan of his lazy personality.

I can't think of anything new that hasn't already been said, but I tend to be partial to villagers with a more "neutral" color scheme, I find that they just look better in most clothes. Marshal would be pretty in pink, blue, green, anything, and Filbert wouldn't. Plus his face is a little too goofy to me in a not-that-cute way.

I think Marshall's cuter. I like his hair and his personality. I'm not too fond of filbert's eyebrows or his eyes. The Lazy personality is awesome though, but I do have a weakness for smugs.

I had Filbert in WW and enjoyed his company but did let him go. In NL Marshal was the next to move in after my initial 5 and he was quickly my favourite villager before I crawled onto the internet and discovered his popularity! Marshal all the way for me !

Okay there is a difference in voicing your opinion and shunning others on what they like.

That being said, I prefer Filbert over Marshal purely for his design. If Filbert were smug instead of lazy, I would have Filbert on my dream villager list.

I have both, but Filbert is my second favourite villager in my current town. Marshal was nice at first, but he's starting to become a jerk.

Marshal would obviously win this, after all, he's the part of the Infamous Trinity along with Julian and Stitches.

Filbert, he's cute and happy! Marshal is too grumpy looking to be a smug, smug villagers talk about trendsetting and the latest styles, and does the flourish emotion when talked to, but he doesn't look like he does any of that.. looks like he thinks everyone's a moron. And people talk about him too much. Marshal would be a cranky, but a deep voice doesn't fit him either..

I love my grumpy pie Marshal, but I never have filbert before to compare. Though! I see him once in my camp, he was sooo sooo cute and have such a nice color! *_* <3 I cant take him in that time though, I have 10 villagers. And always have 10 villagers lol.

I like Filbert better because he was one of the first five in my town and his house is pretty awesome. I have Marshal in my town as well. He's cool and all, but he will never compare to Filbert.
