Hey, what are some good items to put in order to maximize luck? Stuff that matches the colour code. Also, what does luck do in this game? I have only heard it increases the chances of getting onto rare islands.

You can hang a bunch of color specific clothing on the walls, and that qualifies. I completely sold out my main room to feng shui, and so far the only benefit has been a higher frequency of rare fish. I haven't gone on a tour since I redecorated, so I can't speak to that.

Do you know what color codes to use? I'm waiting anxiously for the guide to come out (I know a lot of people in the UK have received theirs). What color have you used to obtain more rare fishies?

My guess is green attributes to the fish, since that's overall luck. I also have a lucky golden cat that may be helping. From what I understand, yellow relates to bells, green is luck, and red is furniture.
