favorite way to make bells?

hiii everyone!

so, everyone has there own favorite way to make bells. whether it be the more fun choice, the quicker choice, or the most rewarding one.


personally, i've always made bells using the island. i clean out the center of the island by cutting down all the regular trees, digging up bushes, destroying flowers, and digging up the stumps.
after that, there might be 2 palm trees i need to cut down in the middle of the bottom section of the island (the ones that sometimes block your view).
when i go to catch the bugs, i ONLY catch the beetles. i scare away any other bug (tiger beetle, roaches, even hermit crabs). i also don't catch the goliath beetle, since it's only worth 6k.
i occasionally catch sharks, but release the sunfish.

once i am done, i go back to my town and sell them all to retail. i sometimes go back to the island the same night, but it really depends if i feel like it lmao.

what about you guys? what is YOUR favorite way to make bells?

i dont have the funnest way because it started to become a chore for me, but i do have the quickest way and thats selling non-native perfect fruit which some hacker on the island gave me infinity fruit baskets. the best is when perfect fruit is on premium. lookin at 800k with a pocket full of perfect fruit baskets

I just recently got into the stalk market and since I have a second town that I only use for practical purposes, it's often super easy to make lots of money through turnips. If I'm in a hurry, I go to the island though. To be honest I'm not very good at making money but I'm getting better!

My favorite way to make money is also the island, although I haven't optimized mine the way you have. I like to leave the island the way it is because it's prettier that way. I only fish for sharks and I catch any beetles worth 1000 bells or more. So I probably don't bring home quite as much value as you do, but I find it relaxing and it really reminds me of the old days playing Animal Crossing for the GameCube. I don't know why. Also, I love the island music in the evening. It's so peaceful.

I have a bell making routine. These are a few of the times I do just about every day to make some stable bells:

1. Hit the bell/ore rock and find the fake one.
2. Get meow coupons from Wisp via an Amiibo card/figure.
3. Complete the CAT machine missions for the day.
4. If I have collected enough Meow Coupons I pop into the post office and exchange them.
5. Collect the fossils around town and sell the extras.
6. Sell the furniture and clothes villagers give me. It adds up!
7. In the evening, I go to the island and try to fill my basket with sharks and beetles.

Call me basic, but I use the island method. It's just so easy and makes so many bells. I have no idea how I could possibly ever pay off my loans without it.
