Favorite Villager(s) and Why?

Hey everyone! ) I know we have a list of the most popular villagers, but I was wondering who your favorite villager(s) is/are and why? Do you like them for aesthetics? Did you have them in another game? Do they have a catch phrase that makes you laugh?

Chief , Coco , Poppy
Chief : he may be a cranky but he don't seem like one ! I have him on my town since my restart & he's absolutely adorbs & always give me great tips & he's also my next door neighbor!
Coco : she is hilarious , whenever she pings , she makes me laugh since she's a gyroid/coconut , her face doesn't move xD it's adorable !
Poppy : never had a chipmunk/squirrel in my town & now I love them , she's the tiniest / cutest thing I have xD her color & pattern is also really nice looking xD

I really like the more natural looking villagers. These are a few that I have and what I love about them:

Melba: cute!
Dizzy: chubby and lazy
Rolf: super grumpy
Merry: looks like my real life kitty <3
Lionel: huge perv

 

[Soda Fox]

Ed is my top favorite, and has been ever since I first laid eyes on him. I wasn't sure if he was a male or female, and it really caught my attention. Plus, now he's smug and smooth as all heck.

Chief is my second favorite, because foxes are my favorite animals.

Bob is my third favorite, because he's named after my hubby. Plus, I think he's fun.

I like all the cats really. I'm going for an all cat town this time around.

Deirdre. I think she's super cute and her uchi personality really suits her.

Carmen because she's been following me throughout nearly all my games and I think that she's absolutely adorable.

Pietro, Rudy, Roscoe, Cherry, Ruby, Mira, Hamlet, Kiki, Diana Teddy, Erik, Bam, Static, Lucky, Kyle, Skye, Tom, Jacques, Cube, Benjamin. I have a ton of favorites I could list. I can't really pick.

I like all my villagers because of their looks basically. I like to have a nice mix of "cute" and "cool" looking villagers, and I usually think the more natural looking ones are boring save for a few.

Bill - My favorite pal from my old town. His personality is just fun to me and he always becomes my very best friend.

I just think it's so precious to know why people favor some villagers over others. :')) It's always so cute when a villager has "followed" you from another game, lol.

I think one of my newer favorites is Fang. I just recently got him in my town, but I think he's just a total doll, even for a cranky character.

Roscoe!

I can't say enough about him. He's a cranky horse who's really sweet when you get to know him. His design is awesome; It has this chess vibe (especially with his starting shirt and the fact that he's a horse. He's a walking Knight piece)

The guy moved in right next to me on my third or fourth day playing. Yay! And his house demolished my only lychee tree at the time lol

Beau.

Sure, Beau might look a 'little plain' compared to Erik or other Lazy villagers, but I adore this villager. Not only was he one of the first villagers I knew were coming to New Leaf, he also is extremely sweet and looks super cuddly.

Papi for sure! I've never had him in any of my towns before but when I first saw him it was like love at first sight! Lol he is so unique and cute, I just love the lazy personality. I'd also have to go with Cheri too because she was in my last town before my current one as one of the starting 5 and I fell in love with her! She is such a great peppy. I don't have any dreamies but these two I would say are my total dream villagers and are must-haves in my town.

My favorites come to a tie...
if i had to order them though...
1. Merengue. < (look at my avatar/ title. Other than that, as soon as i laied eyes on her, i set it as a goal to get her! it took 5 days of staking this website, but it was worth it!)
2. Coco. (I've always liked the things some find creepy and others see as adorable. similar story to Merengue here too.)
3. Marshal. ( My little smug bby. I love my smug bby. I thought he was overrated at first, so I looked him up on google images, wanted him immediately.)

Mine are Kiki and Ribbot. Both of them have been in all 4 of my towns so I'm pretty attached to both of them. I think Kiki has a slight edge just because I met her first and she was my next door neighbor in WW.

So far, my favorites are Puddles and Punchy, and Kiki is also becoming a favorite; I just got her two weeks ago ^_^. I didn't expect to like Puddles when I first met her early in the game (she is one of my original villagers; I still have her) since she was a frog and while I don't dislike frogs, I don't like them either or think they're cute. Puddles became a fast favorite for me because her friendliness and energy always put a smile on my face--or at least, most of the time. Punchy is another favorite of mine because I love all cats regardless of their personality (IRL, I'm not sure if the same would apply to all of them in the game); he almost looks like a friend of mine's cat, whom I love so much (I know that's kind of weird, but, hey, I love cats ). His smug expression on his face and the things he says makes me chuckle sometimes; although it annoys me when he tries to buy my stuff for cheap prices or try selling me his things for stupid prices, I still love him. The first time I interacted with Kiki, was in a dream world. Prior to that, when I looked at her picture online, I thought she looked kinda ugly because her nose looks squished; but, now, I think her squished nose is cute. ^_^. Once I talked to her in the dream world, I thought how cute she was and sounded and how I'd maybe like her in my village.

Old Town: My absolute favorite is no other than Poppy, she is so nice and so cute I still miss her at least I managed to save her pic so not everything is lost.

Eugene: at first I didn't liked him that much, but this smug koala grew on me and his personality helped him to move as my 2nd favorite.

Ribbot: he is a robot among villager what else you need.

NEW TOWN:
Carmen: I struggled so much to get a peppy villager in lost town that, having her and interact with her is really funny, just look at her teeth, she is really cool.

Diana and Fuchsia: tied, never had deers before, they are awesome both of their designs are great and both of their houses are really nice looking.

Agent S: 2nd peppy villager, she is little and is a super heroine! so original also she reminds me of Poppy which is still my top favorite

Let's see...

Marshal, because those sharp eyes and surly little frown are just too cute! I also think Smug is one of the best personalities.
Diana, I love her pastel aesthetic, and her house is really nice. Snooties are great once you've made friends with them.
Molly, she's just so cute. There are so many good Normal villagers, but I think Molly is definitely the cutest.

Genji -- He looks so cute, and his house (exterior and interior) look so sooo nice.. and he moved in next to my house so he's often the first villager I see whenever I start up ehehe... He also reminds me of Genji from the book The Tale of Genji and I loved that book!

Coco -- I find her to be really cool meheh and I've seen lots of fanart/comics that contribute as to why she's one of my favorites lol

... both of them are my top favs, and the fact that I love bunnies contribute to that reason hahah though of course, I have lots of other favorites.. but they're too many T__T

Diana: Love her house, she looks really nice, and we have the same name!

Poppy: SO FRIKIN CUTE
I feel so lucky to have her as a starter!

O'hare: Such a cute bunny and a really nice home!

Maple: she's so cuuuuteeeee

Bunnie: Adorable! Look at those eyes!
