Favorite villager personality type?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what kind of villager is your favorite? I personally love smug villagers for some reason, that line they say about how the town needs more dancing kills me!!!

Based on speech, cranky, i love how they try to act tough and mean but are sweet and caring

Based on appearance, jock, a lot of jocks are really cute like kid cat, rod, snake, teddy, rudy, bam, antonio, and kody

Seconding this, though I find appearance-wise Normals tend to look more decent at times, and I do enjoy jocks to an extent as well as crankies.

Me too!! I have Hazel the lil unibrow squirrel and she's totally adorrrbs. Always trying to act tough. Whenever she sees me with bee stung face she freaks out and asks who beat me up so that she could go beat them up! Then she realizes it's just a bee sting and gives me medicine Sooo cute :>

Normal's are definitely the cutest, but I enjoy talking to the smugs and crankies the most
Smugs have the funniest dialogue while crankies try to act all grumpy but are sweethearts really...

I love cranky types! They're so darn... interesting? I blame T-Bone, Rolf, and Static for that reason (and maybe Fang). I love the fact that they're just kind of cold at first (and a little blunt). And I'd like to play the gamecube version to see how they evolved. But probably my second favorite is normal (sweethearts like Skye, and Flurry)! They're so like insecure at times, and I like how down to Earth they are.

I'd say smugs, but as of late, I've been questioning that due to how uninteresting I've found Marshal in comparison to Kyle. So- in that case, I'm going to have to say Lazies purely due to how charming they are.

I can NOT choose between smug and grumpy! The smug ones obsession with dancing *is* really funny and all their talk of fashion is great XD
But the grumpy villagers are actually so nice! It's adorable how embarrassed they get when they show you how nice they can be :,3 Bonus points if they like their coffee with lots of sugar and milk~
