Favorite Spooky Set variants

to be honest, i just like the original orange one. i have always felt like pumpkins looked weird when they weren’t orange and that kinda stuck with me, I guess. they just look unnatural to me and I don’t think I will be customizing any of my spooky items due to this

I agree with the poster above. It feels off if we use a different colour for the pumpkins.
My main residential area, which is a big chunk of my halloween decorations, are all regular orange. That one is probably my favourite because it just looks like a typical pumpkin and certain furnitures can be used outside halloween if the face carving is hidden. But for other villagers outside this main residential area I gave them different colour variants that would look better with their exteriors. I like colour coding areas of my town, so customising always helps with this. I agree that the monochrome one is classy and I use it for my own front lawn

The green set is my favorite, as I’m biased towards the green pumpkins. They made it in my favorite shade of green!

Orange is the default that just looks the most natural to me... but I have to agree with the TC, the white pumpkins have this certain appeal to them. I'll probably be using a few of them once I can grow some white pumpkins.
I like the orange one. It just screams classic pumpkin. But, I do have my villagers color-coded using their favorite colors. Lobo has yellow pumpkins and candy jar. Leopold has green pumpkins. Merengue has white pumpkins and candy jar. But orange will be the primary pumpkin color on my island this Halloween and Thanksgiving.

It depends on which item. I like the default orange on all of them, but some look nice in other colors.
The arch works well in the yellow and green, especially set in a forest area.
The tower, lantern, and lantern set are nice in the other three, depending on the vibe. The monochrome is a much more chic look, although I don't care for them with the lights off.
I rather like the scarecrow in green, but the hanging lantern looks best in orange or yellow.

I really like the normal orange ones, but monochrome is a very close second. I wish I had more white pumpkins to customize stuff.
Yellow is pretty good, too. I really like it with the standing lamp and arch. Can't say if I'm a fan of green, though

And I like *all* the spooky towers. But I'm enjoying mixing and matching around my island, and especially trying to decorate around villagers' houses with the ones I think they'd actually like.

My favorite are the orange and whites. I'm all about monochromes, so I was really happy to see black, white and grays version of the items. I've been using orange though as it's more classic Halloween and I only have exactly one white pumpkin plant.
I love the green. I'd like to use them year round than shoving them into my storage and maxing out again. I love squash so much, lol.
The green version looks like kabocha squash especially when you customize the spooky chair.

My favorite variant is the monochrome as well! I think it has a classic spooky/horror sort of vibe to it. I like the other variants as well though, and I have some items of each variant on my island at the moment~

Hard to pick just one favorite, in a general sense it's a pretty close call between the traditional standard Orange and the lovely Green. I think I'll give it to Green just because the shade they used is just so pleasant. Orange would be second. White is third because while there are a lot of nice looking White/monochrome customizations of the items, it's generally weaker than the other two save from a few standouts for me. Yellow's in last place because, while I love its inclusion too, it just doesn't really compare to the others.
On an individual item level:
Spooky Arch: Either Yellow or Green, leaning toward Green at the moment.
Spooky Candy Set: Orange
Spooky Carriage: Green
Spooky Chair: Orange
Spooky Garland: Orange
Spooky Lantern: Orange
Spooky Lantern Set: Green
Spooky Scarecrow: Green
