Edit: I added a little poll :)

I am SO ready for summer to be over.

I’m gonna say it: I hate summer. It has always been my least favorite season. Living in yeehaw town, USA means that summers are hot, dry, and just unbearable. When I was a little kid there was a day when the temperature outside reached 120° F and broke a bunch of state records for the hottest day. Don’t get me wrong. I like swimming (although I don’t like the beach or the ocean at all). I like popsicles. I LOVE snow cones. Being out of school is fantastic. That stuff is cool, but the bad massively outweighs the good in my opinion. Bug bites, sweat, air conditioner bills, flies, and wasp nests make the season pretty terrible to me. The sensation of sitting in your boiling hot car after only leaving it for a quick trip to the grocery store is what I imagine Hell feels like.

So what is my favorite season? Winter. Hear me out. This is a matter of opinion, after all.

1) Clothes. My favorite clothes are oversized, especially sweaters and flannels. I love long sleeves and pants. I feel like my clothing in the summer is very monotonous. Just a T shirt and shorts so I don’t get heatstroke. During the winter months, possibilities are endless. Layers on layers. A fluffy coat. My favorite black faux leather boots. Fluffy/high socks. All my favorites.

2) Snow. I LOVE snow (when I don’t have to drive through it, anyway). Yeehaw town, USA has some pretty gnarly and unpredictable winters. There has been snow in late March before. Snow days are the best. I got two consecutive ones in February this year and at one point two years ago. I just like cold weather as a whole whether there is snow or not.

3) Christmas. I love Christmas. It’s one of my favorite holidays. I love seeing homes and businesses lit up with colored lights. It just feels so magical outside.

What‘s your favorite season?

Favorite is spring because it’s when everything is new and blooming, and it’s also not too hot yet.

Least favorite is winter because it’s usually depressing for me or something bad happens. Although... this past winter wasn’t terrible.

I don't like the heat, but I still love everything else about the summer. Usually I just say spring, but I just love life in the summer. Everything looks so alive.

Favourite is summer because you can finally go outside without having to put on a jacket. Plus you can wear flip flops and swim in lakes!!

Least favourite is definitely winter because it's long, cold and the snow makes it scary/annoying to go anywhere. You can't just get up and drive, you have to put on all your layers and then scrap your car clean. Like yuck. Plus you get cooped up inside from November to April because it's too freaking cold to go outside. The only good thing about winter is Christmas.

summer because i'm not constantly looking to [redacted] myself if u get what i mean my depression is worst in winter so probably summer although that seems to be changing so oh boy who knows. maybe autumn because my birthday.

My favourite season is the start of spring when it's not too cold and the flowers are blooming and everything is green :giggle: I live in northern Thailand and we have winter albeit the temperature is between 10-20 degree celsius and as someone who lives in the tropics, it is considered cold for me. Spring is the best because it's not too cold nor too hot. Other than winter, it is always sun and rain. It's either too hot or rainy.

Not a fan of summer, either. It gets too hot and humid where I live (midwest USA). Winter is the opposite -- too cold.

I love fall the best of the four seasons. Milder weather, great tree colors, and fewer allergies and tornadoes relative to spring. I was also born in the fall, married in the fall -- fall is great. :)

I love fall and the leaves and the crisp air! I just wish it wasn’t freezing out so I could enjoy it. I love summer because of the warmth and it getting dark out at like 8:30. I can do without the cicadas , the birds chirping at 1 AM, and the storms. I love riding my bicycle so eighty degrees is perfect.

I enjoy spring a lot! the sun just makes me feel happier and it’s nice to just take a walk with my dog and lay down in the grass for a bit. summer gets too humid to comfortably relax, and it gets dark too quickly in fall! winters just hell

I'm going to say fall is my favorite season even though I feel like that might be changing, mainly because we haven't had proper fall weather where I live in years now.

Early fall is the perfect temperature for me, between 70-80°F. Even when it drops into the 60's, I can tolerate that temperature. I love the changing colors of the leaves. My favorite holiday is Halloween, which is in the fall. My birthday is also in the fall. American football season starts in the fall.

Spring is also in the right temperature range for me and I love the return of bright green, but it rains way too much for me and it's also the worst season for my allergies.

Winter is my least favorite season by far. I am very cold-natured, practically like a reptile, so temperatures below 50°F make me feel absolutely miserable. No amount of layers or bundling up helps. I hate the snow and the forced family gatherings for the holidays. I feel nothing but stress and depression during the winter.

My favorite is winter!! My oven is always on and my house always smells like warm foods.

And sweets! I bake cookies and cakes and love to bundle up under my covers to stay warm. Plus knowing spring will make everything green again makes my heart sing. I can enjoy natures beauty as everything comes back from winters grip. Its magical honestly!

I totally forgot to mention that but YES that’s another great part about winter. You can warm up the house by making cookies :)

You can’t bake bread when it’s cold out though.😭 Sometimes in the winter, I just stand by the oven for warmth.
I want to live in a climate where my coconut oil never goes solid.

I definitely hear you on the subject of family gatherings. I hate them too. Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday and I pretend that it doesn’t exist half the time (I continue to wear halloween stuff until December).

autumn! it’s not too hot and not too cold and it has pretty colours! and plus,,, halloween lmao

I love Halloween! Autumn is definitely my second favorite season. My boyfriend goes all out with decorations and even makes his own costumes. He gets really excited about it and it’s so cute.

Summer! I can't stand fall/winter cold and spring is pretty much a longer winter season these years...

I like winter because of the christmas season!!

Ever since I was a kid I'd enjoy watching endless christmas movies, drive around and look at lights, read by the fire, etc.
