Favorite Removed Villager?

Hey! I’m curious what everyone’s favorite removed villagers are (as in, villagers that have been in previous games, but not ones after that). Mine has to be Rio. I found her on the wiki the other day and I’m genuinely upset she’s not in the game now? My island would be Festivale year round if I had her!

but i adore him so much, he literally is the best villaver in AC

i never played the gamecube version so idk many of the really old villagers but i've seen a few and a lot of them are super cute like cupcake and champ

Tarou! He looks cool and a jock wolf is an interesting choice. Especially since more than half the wolves are cranky.

There's not really that much I can say about why.

Bow and Meow. I doubt we'll ever see them return, but they add that touch of uncanny yet adorable. They'd blend perfetly into any city or cyberpunk/future themed towns.

Compared to some other villagers they aren't even that weird cause we have:
Sentient Takoyaki (Zucker)
A Unicorn (Julian)
A mummy with glowing eyes (Lucky)
The living gyroid villager (Coco)
Handmade teddybear (Stitches)

And a bunch more quirky villagers that have unique models/animations compared to others in their species, so having a screen for a face is far from farfetched.

I always assumed they removed them since they were, like, promos for some sort of robotic pet toy? I agree that we should get more robot villagers though, ESPECIALLY since everyone ignores Sprocket and Del!

I loved Sven and Iggy, the original blue goats. I wish they would bring them back someday, especially Sven since we need more elderly villagers.

Hank is my #1 choice, just because he's been my buddy in my GameCube town for many years. Emerald, Woolio, and Champ are also high on my list.

Of the removed villagers, these are my personal favorites:

Champ- He's very cute monkey villager and I like how he looks like Porter! Now that we don't have Porter anymore, he'd be fun to have around.
Tarou- I like that he's based on a purple taro and I think he also has a cute design!
Petunia- Normally I don't like Rhino villagers but I really like her color scheme.
Pironkon- I like his circle markings!

Champ! he's one of the couple monkeys I like, so it's a disappointment he's not in any of the recent installments.

There are quite a few I'd like back but the main ones are Champ, I'm generally not a fan of the monkey villagers but I liked him, and the Sanrio villagers, especially Etoile and Chai, I think they have really nice designs and are really lovely colours.

Definitely Emerald! I had her on my Gamecube game as my nearest neighbour. She was my fave, I'd love to welcome her back again.

I really like Woolio, Nosegay, and Emerald and none of them made it past the og Animal Crossing games. if they did I would have all three in my NH town right now

honestly, a lot of past villagers are really cool but my favourites definitely have to be bow, lulu, pironkon, sunny and tarou! i’m particularly fond of bow but sadly, his return is pretty unlikely . definitely hoping for the others to make a comeback, though! i’d love to see them in new horizons’ gorgeous quality. :’)

I was pretty disappointed that Valise didn't come back into NH. I never had her in GC, but I still love her. ;-;
I love the kangaroos, especially the cranky and snooty ones.

For me, Meow !! And, as of today, I also love Chelsea. I'm saying 'as of today' as we don't know what future Nintendo holds for the Sanrio collaboration characters.
