Toy day is my favourite holiday in ACNL because of the music that plays throughout the day, which I really love. Again like you said it makes you feel some sort of closeness with your villagers and for me personally it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I also find it really cute that the villagers have their own santa/believe in their own santa (aka jingle) I find that really cute.. maybe it's just me. The build up to toy day is also really good too and I find it pretty fun to try and remember what my villagers want for toy day without writing it down. Overall toy day gives me a lot to do, and that's probably why I like it more than the other holidays in game.
