🎶Favorite/least favorite, video game songs/soundtrack?🎶

Minecraft has some pretty good music, but my favorite song is Haggstrom. It sounds so calming and lullaby-like. Some of my other favorites include any Mario rpg final boss theme, faster paced Mario stage music such as athletic or beach themes, and a lot of Kirby themes, including final bosses. My favorite hourly theme in all of AC is 11 pm from New Leaf. There’s a lot more songs I could name but I’m too lazy to do that haha 😛.

I dont really have a least favorite but my favorite soundtrack (and favorite game of all time) is Goemon’s Great Adventure for n64.

Another video game soundtrack I love is that of Demon's Crest:

Chrono Trigger and Kirby Super Star both had wonderful soundtracks as well:

Yep, the grand majority of my favorite soundtracks come from Super Nintendo games (PlayStation comes in second).

Oh boy. There are so many games that have wonderful music but my favorite soundtracks as a whole package are from Undertale and Nier Automata. I also have a soft nostalgic spot for Assassin's Creed 2. A notable mention goes to the Splatoon series, but it has songs that I love, songs that I like or I'm neutral about, and songs that I dislike, so I can't say it's my favorite soundtrack as a whole.

I've been to Undertale and Assassin's Creed 2 live concerts (and I was very happy that the AC2 concert didn't feature music from newer titles as I don't care about the series for years now) and in both cases the experience was just incredible. I would love to go to a Nier concert someday too.

Square/Enix had some really good soundtracks especially from Chrono Trigger! Love a lot of the Donkey Kong Country music. Bramble Blast is so good even if that stage is a pita 😅

Overall Nintendo has a lot of good music and it'd be hard to list it all. Some of it is classics others are more modern or within the last 5-10 years.

I could probably go on forever as there's a lot of good music from many games on many different consoles and companies.
