I really love the Hyacinths. They remind me of lavender, especially the purple and blue colored ones.
Lilies were my favorite in New Leaf.
Love pansies and roses too.
Cosmos were the flower that bloomed originally on my cliffs and I love how bright and cheerful the pink, yellow and orange colors are. I never liked them in the previous games. They were so...dull.
My favourites are hyacinths because I love the pastel colours. After that, it's lilies because they have a bit more depth and add a varied look to flower beds.
I don't really have a favourite flower type independent of colour, so this is a bit difficult...
I really like black and purple roses, pink lilies, and black cosmos. Purple tulips are also really nice. I'm not so much a fan of windflowers or mums in general, but hyacinths are okay.
I love the vibrant colours of the tulips and their cute design.
I also love the pastels of hyacinths, they're really soft and pleasing... I'm less fond of the colours of lilies (generally speaking), but they have a unique look that I love to add to all of my gardens.
This is too hard for me to answer, really. I like each flower in its own way but I've always been fond of pansies IRL along with lilies and of course roses (all of these can't really be grown where I live, too; sighhh). I particularly love the patterns and colors in pansies in general, they're such an adorable and cheerful flower and remind me of the pansies from Disney's old Alice in Wonderland animated film.
In-game would have to be hyacinths. Lily of the valley is my favourite flower in real life though(that and jasmines) but for some reason they're just not as appealing to me in-game.
Definitely the hyacinths! What I love about them the most is that the hybrid versions are really subtle and not super bright the colors are more muted and toned down which I can appreciate.
