Favorite Flower Combinations? ⁕

Lately I've been going through dream towns and watching Briclyn Forest on Youtube for inspiration when it comes to landscaping. I've noticed that certain flowers and certain colors really look good together~

I was wondering if any of you guys on TBT have any personal favorites when it comes to flower combinations?

I do not think I have a favorite combination per-say, but I do like how flowers of the same color look together mixed typically. It does not need to be constant, it may just be random.

My town has purple and blue violets, black and orange cosmos, and black and orange lilies. I spent a while deciding on that, haha

I like white tulips with the yellow dandelions.

I tried putting purple tulips with white cosmos together and surprisingly, it fits! Normally, I combine different coloured flowers of the same breed, but it's not so bad if you put different breeds next to each other.

my favorite combo is white tulips, pansies, roses, and lilies, with purple and white violets, and finally lilies of the valley! it's my go to combo for when i'm decorating a cedar forest~

I’m not picky with flower colors, although I like having similar colors near each other. Having a random white flower in a bunch of blue is a BIG no for me. Also I don’t like having flowers of different types near each other. If there’s a red tulip hanging out in the red roses it’s gonna be moved as soon as it’s noticed. Unless that makes the flower patch uneven. I hate that even more. Other than that they’re all really pretty, so I try to have a bit of everything ^^

- Purple violets, white lilies, red roses
- Purple violets, white violets, blue violets
- Blue pansies, white roses, pink cosmos
- Black cosmos, white cosmos, orange cosmos
- Red lilies, pink lilies, white lilies
- Pink roses, white cosmos, purple tulips, black tulips
- Blue roses, pink roses, white roses, purple roses
- Red pansies, purple pansies, white cosmos, orange tulips, and black roses (for a more natural and random look)

Another combination that I think would look very pretty but I didn't find room for it is white tulips and purple pansies.

I like to use white as an anchor color. I feel like incorporating white into all of the different flower combinations makes the transitions easier and the whole town feels more cohesive to me without having to stick to a specific color scheme or type of flower.

I?m trying to give my town a darker feel to go with a space galaxy tile I?m placing around town, so my combo is : purple pansies, purple and black tulips, with occasional gold roses, pink tulips and red lillies scattered about.

Ahh~ I've recently learned that putting black flowers with purple/blue flowers is such a pretty combination. I know it definitely looks good with the white flowers included!

In my old town I had an area with black tulips and black roses mixed with pink lillies. It was really pretty!
