My villagers, as well as everyone else?s villagers I?m sure, are constantly asking for a new catchphrase or greeting, so I was just wondering what are some of your favorite things you told your villagers to say? Looking for some ideas next time one of them asks!

I gave Apollo, the cranky eagle. the greeting, "I'm a nice eagle!" (Because, as you may be aware, the crankies often say they think they need to soften their greeting so they don't seem so intimidating, lol.) After almost two years of play, I finally hit on this one and will probably never change it. Good thing they always think you are giving them a new one, right? :D

Haha that is a good one, I still haven’t found one that perfectly suits my people yet

Hahahaha, I changed Pietro's original "honk honk" to "preach." It's really more for my amusement than anything. Otherwise, I'm really bad at giving my villager's new catchphrases. My wife has Gayle, and she changed her catchphrase to "ticktock" like in Peter Pan. She's so much more creative and imaginative than me lol.

I've recently taken to changing all of my villagers phrase to "Gucci gang". Here in Lilac we eat, breathe, and live memes.

In reality I suck at thinking of anything creative so I just give them meme phrases and greetings lmao

Hahaha sounds like you’re creating more of a cult than a peaceful town

I gave Stitches the phrase "oh, bother" from Winnie-the-Pooh. He's such a forgetful little cub, it fit him perfectly.

I've got Camofrog saying Boo-ya, since it seems to fit his personality. And Ahkha will now greet you with "hello" in Egyptian.

I have Epona who says "Oh, hay". Jeremiah wanted to pretend we're spies so he says, "BBQ Bananas" & today I changed Wolf Link's to "Oh, Midna". I get a headache trying to think of new ones. lol!
